Open Access Publishing: What’s in it for me? In-Person

Interested to learn how publishing open access (OA) makes your scholarly work available to a wider readership? This session is tailored to postdocs, and open to all who want to learn more about the OA publishing model. You will learn the benefits of open access, strategies to finding a reputable OA journal, and about how the UAB libraries supports open access and the broader open science movement.  This session is one of many held this week to celebrate the theme Community over Commercialization for the 2024 International Open Access Week. Please join us for this engaging lunch and learn.

Lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis.
