Unlocking Knowledge: Navigating the Open Access Landscape Online

Jump into the fascinating world of open access (OA) and predatory publishing in this workshop co-sponsored by the UAB Libraries’ Office of Scholarly Communication and the Alabama Library Association Scholarly Communication Round Table. You’ll learn about the benefits of open access publishing and how to identify and select reputable journals while avoiding predatory publishers. We will also explore the myriad support for open access publishing offered by the UAB Libraries.
