Workforce Development in Virtual Reality with Transfr VR

Workforce Development in Virtual Reality with Transfr VR In-Person

Visit the Lister Hill Library Virtual Reality Studio Thursday, May 4th to try virtual reality workforce development modules from Transfr. The UAB libraries will host Kaitlyn Ebert of Transfr. Transfr partners with community organizations, workforce development groups, and educational institutions, including public and academic libraries, to support economic development through career pathway training across industries.

Kaitlyn will provide demonstrations of virtual reality simulations that provide bloodborne pathogens training, introduction to using electrical testing equipment such as voltage and multimeters, and orientations to using hand tools. Transfr provides a searchable catalog of curricular alignment across industries for much of its available content.
