The ins-and-outs of open access publishing Online

 

Are you interested in making your scholarship more accessible to scholars around the world? This workshop will explore the ins-and-outs of open access, the publishing model that makes research information electronically available to readers at no cost. Participants will learn: 

•    the basics of open access,
•    how to avoid predatory publishers and journals, and
•    how to take advantage of open access funding opportunities through the UAB Libraries.

This workshop is part of the UAB Libraries’ Office of Scholarly Communication webinar series.
