AI Ethics: Are libraries overthinking the application? Online
AI is on everyone’s mind. Our users are turning to generative AI to create content, analyze data, and streamline tasks. As library professionals, how do we adapt while maintaining high professional standards? In this session, we’ll give an overview of AI, discuss some of the tools that are already in place (that you may not realize you’ve already been using), and share some ideas for navigating the ethical landscape of AI with confidence.
This session is sponsored by the UAB Libraries Office of Scholarly Communication as part of their Spring Seminar Series.
